About The Event
Make a Mug - Pottery Workshop for Beginners (Adults)
Join us to create a lovely slab-built mug with handle. Personalize if for a special gift or a family keepsake.
In this beginner workshop you will learn the basic techniques of hand building. There are two choices for shapes and sizes and several patterns. Two kiln firings are required for these pieces, between which, we will dip your beautiful hand built mug in the glaze of your choice. The mugs will be ready for pick up 2 or 3 weeks after the class and your instructors will connect with you once the mugs are finished.
Level: Beginner class, all levels of experience are welcome.
Instructors: Mary Spensieri and Sandra Bracken
Non-Members: $75
Members: $60
All materials are included.
The workshop is limited to 10 so register early! The last day for registration is midnight on Monday, September 9, 2024.
Please wear comfortable clothing that you don't mind getting clay on.
Please bring your own beverages, lunch and/or snacks. There is a fridge, kettle and microwave at the studio.
We hope you can join us!
